An Introduction to the Executive Women's Golf Association

The
Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) is a not-for-profit organization
formed in 1991 that provides opportunities for women to learn, play, and
enjoy the game of golf for business and for life. EWGA, the premier force
for promoting women’s golf, has over 20,000 members in the United States,
Canada, and Europe with more than 130 members in the Akron area. Members of
EWGA are given opportunities to improve their golf skills through clinics
and weekly league play. In addition, the EWGA Championship is the largest
women’s amateur golf tournament in the world. This Championship starts at
the Chapter level.
EWGA is
not just about golf, however. It is an organization of women whose
personal, business and professional networks extend throughout Northeast
Ohio. Many EWGA members are business owners or managers who make decisions
regarding the products and services that are used by their respective
companies. The Akron Chapter of EWGA holds social and informational events
throughout the year so that members can build networks among each other.
We
would like you to consider becoming a corporate partner of the Akron Chapter
of EWGA for the 2009 golf season. We believe that the mission and goals of
our organization would make us a great partner with your company. Becoming a
sponsor of EWGA would offer you the opportunity to present your products and
services to a vast range of female professionals who are active in the
greater Akron business community.
