Announcing…The 2010 Akron Chapter Championship

2010 marks the 15^th Anniversary of the EWGA Championship and we want YOU to share in this special moment in time. Members of all skill levels are encouraged to compete so give the Championship a try and put your game to the test!

Whether you are a seasoned golfer or new to the game, the EWGA Championship provides a venue to experience competitive golf among friends and in the spirit of fun.

Be part of the largest female amateur tournament in the world. Starting at the chapter level with over 120 chapters participating, the EWGA Championship Series begins with over 2500 participants. Winners from each chapter advance to the Semi-final competition which includes winners from 7-10 chapters. Semi-final winners qualify for the 36-hole Championship Finals. The Championship, by design, offers two different competitive formats: Stroke Play and Chapter Team Scramble Competition. You select the competitive format that best fits your game, personality, and skill level.

STROKE PLAY COMPETITION
Players are grouped into one of five flights at each level of Championship competition based on their official Handicap Index. Both Low Gross and Low Net winners in each flight will advance to the next level of competition.

CHAPTER TEAM SCRAMBLE COMPETITION
If teamwork and teambuilding are your strengths, this may be the format for you. This format consists of a four (4) woman team, comprised of your Chapter friends, who meet the eligibility requirements to play in the scramble format.

Cost:                        EWGA Championship Fee:             $35.00
                                 Chapter Tournament Fee:                $55.00
                                 Total Fee                                            $90.00
Includes:                  Tournament fee, carts, warm-up balls, awards dinner, and prizes
                                 No caddies this year, but guests are welcome
Payment Types:     Online (payment only) via Credit Card
                                 Or mail-in Check
Registration form must be received by June 4th.
Handicap deadline is June 15th.

Registration form must be complete, signed, and received by June 4^th with a copy of your USGA handicap.
